Diablo IV Patch 3.2.2 Fixes Progression Bugs

Diablo IV patch 3.2.2. Blizzard has published the notes for the upcoming Diablo 4 patch, identified as version 3.2.2 Build #73764, which will be available alongside the contents of Season 15.

The update, scheduled for September 30, 2026, focuses primarily on bug fixes and introduces changes to several classes, with the goal of resolving issues that could interrupt player progression.

Diablo IV patch 3.2.2: why it matters

Regarding classes, a fix has been implemented for the Druid’s Pulverize ability. Previously, it was possible to exploit this ability to indefinitely immobilize bosses already in a stunned state, excessively simplifying certain encounters.

The Sorcerer receives a specific correction for the Incinerate Enchantment. Combustion damage should now correctly trigger associated runes, resolving an anomalous behavior that prevented the mechanic from functioning as intended.

A problem regarding the Sol Rune has also been fixed; its damage reduction effect linked to sanctuary random bonuses did not always activate correctly.

A significant portion of the interventions is dedicated to resolving issues caused by excessively rapid progression. Blizzard has corrected several cases where traversing certain game areas at high speed could block the character, compromising the seasonal mission or preventing progress within Lester’s Farm dungeons, one of the new areas inspired by the Hellfire expansion of the first Diablo.

Among other improvements included are greater reliability in rewards obtainable in the Chamber of Bone, a reference to the series’ first chapter, and the correction of a bug that prevented players from creating the item Henri’s Perquisition inside the Horadric Cube.

What Changes and What Are the Effects

The Runeword Edge, inspired by Diablo 2, has also been revised to prevent its effect from triggering at a higher frequency than intended, allowing players to obtain two items from the Purveyor of Curiosities in unintended situations.

Completing the update are several minor interventions: Nihlathak will no longer be able to teleport out of his arena during combat, the headgear associated with the Runeword Lore will display correctly on the character, and currencies present in the “Statistics and Materials” tab will be highlighted as intended.

The Diablo 4 patch 3.2.2 will be available starting September 30, 2026. At this time, Blizzard has not announced further significant changes for Season 15 but reserves the possibility of implementing additional interventions during the rollout.
